- 1 teaspoon onion powder

- 1/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
- 8 slices bacon, cooked crispy and crumbled
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup buttermilk
- 1 packet (1 ounce) dry ranch dressing mix
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill (optional)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 hamburger buns, brioche or your favorite
- 4 slices cheddar cheese (or your preferred cheese)
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup sliced tomato (optional)
Instructions
- Prep the Chicken: Pat chicken breasts dry. If thick, pound to 1/2 inch thickness.
- Season the Chicken: Combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, black pepper, and salt. Rub all over chicken.
- Cook the Chicken: Heat skillet over medium-high heat. Cook chicken 5-7 minutes per side, or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Rest the Chicken: Let chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing or shredding.
- Slice or Shred: Slice or shred chicken.
- Cook the Bacon: Place bacon in a cold skillet, turn heat to medium. Cook, turning occasionally, until crispy (8-10 minutes).
- Drain the Bacon: Drain bacon on paper towels.
- Crumble the Bacon: Crumble bacon into small pieces.
- Combine Ranch Ingredients: In a bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, buttermilk, ranch dressing mix, parsley (if using), dill (if using), garlic powder, and onion powder.
- Season Ranch: Add salt and pepper to taste.
- Chill the Ranch: Refrigerate ranch for at least 30 minutes.
- Toast Buns (Optional): Lightly toast hamburger buns.
- Spread Ranch Dressing: Spread ranch dressing on both buns.
- Add Lettuce: Place lettuce on the bottom bun.
