  • 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 46 Oreo cookies, crushed for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies with the melted butter. Mix until all the crumbs are well coated with butter.
  3. Press the Oreo mixture firmly into the bottom of a 9-inch springform pan.
  4. Bake the crust in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes. Once done, remove it from the oven and let it cool.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer on medium speed until smooth and creamy (about 2-3 minutes).
  6. Add the creamy peanut butter and mix until well combined.
  7. Gradually add the powdered sugar and vanilla extract, mixing until everything is well blended.
  8. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form.
  9. Gently fold the whipped cream into the peanut butter and cream cheese mixture.
  10. Pour the filling over the cooled Oreo crust in the springform pan.
  11. Tap the pan gently on the counter to remove any air bubbles.
  12. Cover the cheesecake with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight.
  13. In a mixing bowl, combine 1/2 cup of heavy whipping cream with 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
  14. Whip the cream until stiff peaks form.
  15. Carefully remove the cheesecake from the springform pan.
  16. Spread the whipped cream topping evenly over the cheesecake.
  17. Sprinkle the crushed Oreo cookies on top and drizzle with chocolate sauce if desired.
