Texas Trash Dip

Cheesy, creamy, and packed with Tex-Mex flavor — this warm bean dip is a crowd favorite for game days, parties, or anytime you need an ultra-comforting snack. Serve with a mountain of tortilla chips!


🍴 Ingredients

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 (16 oz) can refried beans
  • 1 (1 oz) packet taco seasoning
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Optional toppings: sliced green onions, diced tomatoes, sliced jalapeños, chopped cilantro

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Prepare the Dip:

Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, mix cream cheese, sour cream, refried beans, and taco seasoning until smooth and well combined.
Stir in half of the cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese.

Bake:

Spread the mixture into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the remaining cheese evenly over the top.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until hot and bubbly.


✨ To Serve:

Top with green onions, tomatoes, jalapeños, and cilantro if desired.
Serve hot with tortilla chips, veggies, or even warm tortillas for dipping!
