Tender, seared sirloin steaks topped with a luxurious creamy sauce? Yes, please. This dish is perfect for date night, a cozy dinner, or anytime you want to impress with minimal effort.

Ingredients:

(Serves 2–3)

???? For the steaks:

  • 2 sirloin steaks (about 6–8 oz each)
  • Salt & freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter

???? For the creamy sauce:

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup beef broth (or dry white wine for extra depth)
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard (optional – adds a tangy note)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme or 1 teaspoon fresh chopped herbs (rosemary, parsley, thyme)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan (optional for extra richness)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste

Instructions:

1. Season & sear the steaks:

  • Pat the steaks dry with paper towels.
  • Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil and butter in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Sear steaks for 3–4 minutes per side (depending on thickness & desired doneness).
  • Transfer steaks to a plate, tent loosely with foil, and rest while making the sauce.

2. Make the creamy sauce:

  • In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium.
  • Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant (don’t let it brown).
  • Pour in beef broth (or wine) and let simmer for 1–2 minutes to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in cream, Dijon, herbs, and Parmesan (if using).
  • Simmer for 3–4 minutes, stirring, until sauce thickens.
  • Season to taste with salt and pepper.

3. Serve:

  • Spoon the creamy sauce generously over the rested steaks.
  • Garnish with extra herbs or cracked pepper if you’re feelin’ fancy.

Perfect Pairings:

???? Mashed potatoes or roasted baby potatoes
???? Steamed green beans, asparagus, or garlicky sautéed spinach
???? A glass of red wine like Cabernet or Syrah

Bold, buttery, and packed with savory flavor — this steak + sauce combo is pure comfort with a touch of elegance. Ready to sizzle? ????
