????✨ Shirley Temple Ice Cream Float – A Fizzy, Creamy Twist on the Classic Mocktail!

April 25, 2025 by Willow

This fun and nostalgic treat combines the sweet sparkle of a Shirley Temple with creamy vanilla ice cream for a float that’s fizzy, fruity, and totally irresistible — perfect for kids and grown-up kids alike.

???? Ingredients:

(Makes 1 float – scale as needed!)

  • 2 scoops vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup lemon-lime soda (like Sprite or 7UP)
  • 1/2 cup ginger ale (optional for extra zing)
  • 1–2 tbsp grenadine syrup
  • Maraschino cherries, for garnish
  • Whipped cream (optional, but always fun)

???? Instructions:

  1. Scoop the ice cream into a tall glass.
  2. Pour the soda + ginger ale over the ice cream slowly — it’ll foam up delightfully!
  3. Drizzle in the grenadine for that signature pink-red glow.
  4. Top with whipped cream and a cherry (or three!).
  5. Stick in a straw and enjoy the fizzy, creamy magic!

???? Tips & Twists:

✔️ Want it extra fruity? Add a splash of pineapple juice or orange soda
✔️ Swap vanilla for cherry, strawberry, or coconut ice cream
✔️ For a party vibe, serve mini versions in shot glasses or float flights!

It’s bubbly, creamy, and totally dreamy — the Shirley Temple Float is your new favorite retro dessert drink. Want an adult version with a splash of vodka or rum? Just ask ????
